The Hon David Bigham, who died 24 August, 2024, aged 86, was a scion of the Viscounts Mersey.
He was born 14 April, 1938, second son of the 3rd Viscount Mersey (1906-1979), and Lady Katherine Evelyn Constance Petty-Fitzmaurice, suo jure the 12th Lady Nairne in the peerage of Scotland (1912-1995); and married 2 January, 1965, Anthea Rosemary Seymour (born 1 July, 1941), scion of the Marquesses of Hertford, daughter of Leopold Richard Seymour (1912-2000), and his wife the former Sheila Isabel Adelaide Butler (1920-1999); by whom he had issue, three sons, Charles (born 21 Apr, 1967), Patrick (born 21 Aug, 1969), and James (born 12 May, 1973), and a daughter, Lucinda (born 3 Nov, 1965).
