Doreen Elizabeth Boddington, who died 9 September, 2024, aged 89, was a scion of the Cooke-Collis landed gentry family; born 31 May, 1935, the second daughter of Brigadier Edward Cunliffe Cooke-Collis, CBE, DSO (1902-1989), head of the Irish landed family, and his wife the former Elizabeth Grace Heigham(1903-1983), a scion of that landed gentry family.
She married 12 April, 1961, Richard Stewart Boddington (1930-2009), a scion of that landed gentry family, son of Philip Boddington (1893-1952), and his wife the former Mary Stewart-Brown (1891-1983), descended from the Brown baronets.
She leaves issue, a son, Rupert (born 1963), and a daughter, Joanna (born 1965).
