The engagement was announced 6 July, 2024, berween Augustus William Malcolm (Gus) Stephenson (born 1994), eldest son of Oliver George Stephenson (born 6 Oct, 1962), of Middleton-by-Youlgreave, Derbyshire, and his wife the former Fiona Alice Jane Malcolm (born 4 Aug, 1962), scion of the Malcolm baronets, & Sophia Rose Aspinall (born July, 1993), daughter of Martin Mark Charles Aspinall (born April, 1951), of Pendleton, Lancashire, and his late wife the former Annette Katerina Taylor (1954-2011).
Gus Stephenson is a grandson of Sir David Peter Michael Malcolm of Balbedie, 11th Baronet (1919-1995)
