The Dowager Lady Vyvyan, who has died aged 92, was the third wife and widow of Sir John Vyvyan, 12th Baronet.
The former Jonet Noel Barclay was born 28 August, 1931, elder daughter of Lieutenant-Colonel Alexander Hubert Barclay, DSO, MC, CStJ (1900-1980), scion of that Scots landed gentry family, and his wife the former Muriel Rose Mitchelson (1905-1965), daughter of Sir Archibald Mitchelson, 1st & last Baronet (1878-1945), &c.
She married in 1958, as his third wife, Major John Stanley Vyvyan (born 20 January, 1916), son of Major-General Ralph Ernest Vyvyan, CBE, MC (1891-1971), and his wife the former Vera Grace Alexander (1894-1956). Her husband succeeded to the baronetcy (created in 1645), on the death of his kinsman, Sir Richard, the 11th Baronet, 15 May, 1978, and died 6 October, 1995.
Lady Vyvyan leaves a daughter, Amanda (born 22 Aug, 1959), and a son, Sir Ralph Ferrers Alexander Vyvyan, 13th Baronet (born 21 August, 1960).
