The Hon Harry Lawson Johnston, who died 2 May, 2023, aged 84, was a scion of the Barons Luke.
Ian Harry Calthorpe Lawson Johnston was born 29 May, 1938, the 2nd son of the 2nd Baron Luke, KCVO (1905-96), and his wife the former Barbara Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe (1911-2006), scion of the baronets of that name, and a granddaughter maternally of the 6th Baron Calthorpe (1829-1910).
He married 4 April, 1970, the Lady (Pamela) Lemina Gordon (born 17 Dec, 1941), daughter of the 12th Marquess of Huntly (1908-87), of Aboyne Castle, Aberdeenshire, by his wife the former Hon Mary Pamela Berry (1918-98), daughter of the 1st Viscount Kemsley (1883-1968), proprietor of the Daily Telegraph.
Harry Lawson Johnstone leaves a widow and a son, Percy (born 6 July, 1971), and a daughter, Henrietta (born 2 May, 1973).
