The engagement was announced 5 November, 2022, between Harry James Heathcoat Amory (born 30 April, 1977), second son of Sir Ian Heathcoat Amory, 6th Baronet (born 3 February, 1942), and his wife the former Frances Louise Pomeroy (born 20 Oct, 1947), scion of the Viscounts Harberton, & the Hon Violet Magdalene Astor (born 1980), daughter of the 3rd Baron Astor of Hever (born 16 June, 1946), and his first wife the former Fiona Diana Lennox Harvey (born 1949), a granddaughter maternally of Sir Harry Mainwaring, 5th Baronet (1878-1934).
