Charles Norman George Peploe died 22 October, 2022. He was 92.
He was born 1 Sept, 1930, son of Capt Charles Reid Peploe (1890-1933), and his wife the former Catherine Mary Macfie (1897-1980); and married 9 July, 1966, Countess Carolyn Lucille Czernin von und zu Chudenitz (born 9 May, 1941), daughter of Squadron Leader Count Manfred Maria Edmund Ralph Beckett Czernin, DSO, MC, DFC, RAF (1913-62), descended from the Barons Grimthorpe, and his former wife, the former Maud Sarah Hamilton (1917-1995), scion of the Dukes of Abercorn, by whom he had issue, two sons, Manfred (born 10 Aug 1969), and Fergus (born 22 Aug 1970).
