Audrey Elizabeth Una Backhouse, who died 14 November, 2022, aged 86, was a scion of the Hardy baronets.
She was born 6 May, 1936, daughter of Lieutenant-Colonel Hugh Bertram Hardy (1907-1988), and his wife the former Joan Stella Gwendolyn Dracott; and married 1965, Charles Frederick Backhouse (who died 2001), by whom she had issue, a son, David (b 9 July, 1971), and a daughter, Isabelle (Izzy), who predeceased her.
Audrey Backhouse was a granddaughter of Sir Bertram Hardy, 3rd Baronet (1877-1953).
