Sir Charles Gray, who died 3 March, 2022, aged 79, was a former Judge of the High Court, Queen's Bench Division.
Charles Antony St John Gray was born 6 July, 1942, son of Charles Herbert Gray and his wife Catherine Margaret Gray; he married 1stly, 1968 [divorced 1990] Rosalind Macleod Whinney, by whom he had one son and one daughter; married 2ndly, 1995, Susan, Lady Astor [nee Eveleigh, died 1997], former wife of Major the Hon Sir John Jacob Astor [1918-2000], scion of the Viscounts Astor, and daughter of Major Michael Eveleigh, of Lyddington, co Leicester. He married 3rdly, 2001, Cynthia Elizabeth Selby.
