The engagement was announced 5 March, 2022, between Louis William Markland de Montfort [born 1994], scion of that Irish landed gentry family, son of Mr Roger de Montfort, of Chiswick, London, and Mrs de Montfort [nee Bell], and Rose Cicely Frances Gibbon [born 1994], daughter of Mr & Mrs Thomas Gibbon, of Ashfield-cum-Thorpe, Suffolk.
