The engagement was announced 24 June, 2021, between Robert Eustace Walter Leigh-Pemberton [born 1991], scion of that landed gentry family, second son of the Hon John David Leigh-Pemberton [born 16 March, 1955], of Frinsted, Kent, and his wife the former Kathryn Felice Lampard, & Rosa Laura L. Goodman [born 1989], daughter of Professor Robert Goodman, of Dulwich Village, and his wife the former Susan N. Lightbody.
Robert Leigh-Pemberton is a grandson paternally of the life peer the Baron Kingsdown, KG [1927-2013], who as Sir Robin Leigh-Pemberton was Governor of the Bank of England 1893-93.
