_. Veronica Anne Kindersley, who died 11 August, 2020, aged 81, was a scion of the Earls of Lauderdale.
She was born 13 November, 1938, as Veronica Anne Maitland Makgill Crichton, daughter of Maj. Douglas Maitland Makgill Crichton [1909-68], by his wife the former Sybil Frederica Coore Paton [died 1992], descended from the Barons Ashtown.
She married firstly, 1978, Ian Joicey Dickinson [1921-96], and married secondly, in 1999, as his second wife, Nicholas Hallam Stuart Kindersley [1939-2015], son of Edmund Murray Kindersley [1905-86], by his wife the former Lucy Emily Ovens, MBE [1898-1984].
Mrs Kindersley left no issue from either marriage.
