_. [Margaret] Iona Letitia Wake-Walker, MBE, JP, DL, died 9 August, 2020, aged 92.
She was a Deputy Lieutenant for West Sussex, a JP, and was appointed MBE.
She was born in 1928, a daughter of Capt James Cassilis Maclean, of Chichester, Sussex, by his wife the former Margaret Isabel Randolph [1901-2001], who was descended from the Nepean baronets; she married 20 Apr, 1949, Cedric Collingwood Wake-Walker [1923-2013], scion of the Walker baronets, by whom she had issue, a son, Edward [born 22 Oct, 1952], and two daughters, Susanna [born 2 June, 1950], and Corinna [born 28 Apr, 1957].
Mrs Wake-Walker was a maternal aunt of the actor Hugh Grant.
