_. Nicholas Randolf Kerr Beuttler, who died 28 May, 2020, at Fréjus, was descended from the Earls of Seafield.
He was born in 1943, son of Col. Leslie Brindley Bream Beuttler, OBE [died 1978], by his wife the former Pamela Rosemary Blake. His sister, Caroline Jane [born 1942] was wife of the politician and diarist, the Rt Hon Alan Clark, MP [1928-99], of Saltwood Castle, son of life peer the Baron Clark.
Mr Beuttler leaves a widow, Martine, and two stepsons, Grégory and Stéphan.
He was a great-great-great grandson of the 6th Earl of Seafield [1778-1853].
