_. Diana Primrose Peel, who died 20 June, 2020, aged 101, was a descendant of the Price [now Rugge-Price] baronets.
She was born 19 Apr, 1919, daughter of Henry Edward Seccombe [1879-1955], of the Old Vicarage, East Guldeford, Rye, Sussex, by his wife the former Helen Rose Elizabeth Price [1882-1969].
She married 18 Dec, 1945, Walter Alexander Maconchy Peel [1914-2008], of Rathmore, Raheny, co Dublin, sometime head of that landed gentry family, the only son of Henry Peel, and had issue, two sons and a daughter. Her elder son, Jonathan Henry Maconchy Peel [born 1954], who succeeded his father, married 15 May, 1982, the Hon Ann Katharine de Yarburgh-Bateson [born 10 Aug, 1950], the only child of the 6th Baron Deramore [1911-2006].
