_.Lady Malcolm Douglas-Hamilton, CBE, who died 14 January, 2013, aged
103, was a public spirited American who organised the wartime Bundles
for Britain campaign. She was latterly a daughter-in-law of the 13th
Duke of Hamilton & Brandon. She was born Natalie Wales, at Cohasset,
Mass, USA, 6 Aug, 1909, daughter of Nathaniel Brackett Wales, and
married four times, (i) in 1929 (Div) Kenelm Winslow; married (ii) 1937
(div) Edward Latham; married (iii) Edward Bragg Paine, of New York,
from whom she was div, & married (iv) in 1953, as his second wife,
Lord Malcolm Avondale Douglas-Hamilton, OBE, DFC (1909-1964), 3rd son of
the 13th Duke of Hamilton & Brandon (1862-1940). There were 2
daughters of the first marriage. Lord Malcolm's first wife was a Bowes
Lyon kinswoman of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, &c.
