The engagement was announced in September, 2006, between Ewen Alexander Nicholas Fergusson (b. 1965), son of Sir Ewen Alastair John Fergusson, GCMG (b. 28 Oct 1932), sometime of HM Diplomatic Service and King of Arms of the Most Distinguished Order of St Michael & St George, by his wife the former Sara Carolyn Gordon-Lennox (b. 1933), scion of the Dukes of Richmond & Gordon, & Louise Mary King, daughter of Mr & Mrs Richard King.
