She was Barbara Cecilia Jarrett, daughter of Maj. Hubert Cecil Delacour Jarratt, and married Cedric Thesiger in 1942. She leaves 3 sons, Peter (in Canada), Richard (at Panmure, Auckland, NZ), and John (at Birkenhead, Auckland, NZ).

7th Viscount St. Vincent (1905-2006)

The Viscount St. Vincent, who died at his home in Jersey, Channel Islands, 4 September, 2006, was aged 101.Ronald George James Jervis, 7th Viscount (Peerage of the United Kingdom, created 1801) was born 3 May, 1905, son of the 6th Viscount (1859-1940) by his wife, the former Marion Annie Brown (d. 1911), and was educated at Sherborne.Career: - - - > served in the Second World War as acting Lieutenant-Commander, RNVR; Justice of the Peace for Somerset, 1950-55, &c.He succeeded to the peerage on the demise of his father in 1940. His ancestor, Admiral Sir John Jervis, First Lord of the Admiralty 1801-04, was the celebrated naval commander who obtained a splendid victory over the Spanish Fleet at Cape St. Vincent.He married in 1945, Constance Phillida Anne, daughter of Lt-Col. Robert Hector Logan, OBE, by whom he had issue, the Hon. Edward Robert James, b. 12 May, 1951, and the Hon. (Ronald Nigel) John, b. 1954. The title devolves upon his elder son.

I do not have Bridget's pedigree, but the Heaton-Armstrongs were Lords of the Manor of Roscrea, in King's County, Ireland. William Charles Heaton-Armstrong, b. 1 Sept. 1853, was nineteen generations in descent *per distaff* from King Edward I, and 14 generations in descent from James II, King of Scots; he m. at Veldes, Austria, 7 Sept. 1885, Baroness Bertha Maximiliana, only surviving daughter of the fourth Baron Zois-Edelstein, of Schloss Egg, Carnolia, Austria, and had issue [i] William Duncan Francis, b. at Veldes, 29 Sept.1886; & [ii] John Dunamace, b. in Middlesex, 21 Feb. 1888.

He was aged 82. David William Anthony Blyth Macpherson was born 23 January, 1924, son of the 1st Baron by his wife Jill (died 1956), daughter of Sir George Rhodes, 1st Baronet, and was educated at Eton and Jesus College, Cambridge. Career: -> served in the RAFVR during WW2; Motoring Correspondent of The Field, 1954-2002; Member of the British Parliamentary Delegation to Austria, 1964; President, Institute of Freight Forwarders, 1974-75; President, Guild of Motoring Writers from 1971; President, Guild of Experienced Motorists, 1980-86; President, National Breakdown Recovery Club, 1982-96; Pres, Driving Instructors' Association, 1982-2002; President, Vehicle Builders' and Repairers' Association from 1983: &c. He published "Motoring for Pleasure" (1963). He succeeded to the peerage (created in 1936) onthe death of his father, 1937. He married firstly, 1947, Valerie Cole (marriage annulled on his petition, 1947), secondly, 1948, Mrs Diana Hawtrey Curle (died 1973), daughter of Commander R.H. Deane, by whom he had 2 sons; thirdly, 1974, Mrs Eve Samuel, who died in 1999; fourthly, 1999, Diana, widow of Hugo Nicholson. The peerage devolves upon his elder son, the Ho Ian David Patrick Macpherson, born 31 March, 1949. Funeral Service at Mortlake Crematorium on Friday 8 September 2006 .

Belinda (Bindy) Roscoe (nee Nutting, b. 1975), wife of William J.F. Roscoe, and scion of the Nutting Baronets, gave birth to a daughter, Amelie Flora, 24 August, 2006.
William is the son of the late Mr John Roscoe and of Mrs Gerard Kenny, of Hartfield, East Sussex, and Belinda is the eldest daughter of Mr David Anthony Nutting (b. 1944), of Terling, Essex, by his wife, the former Tessa Anne Mordaunt.

Belinda is a granddaughter paternally of the Rt Hon Sir Anthony Nutting, 3rd Baronet (by his wife Gillian Strutt, of the Barons Rayleigh); and is a granddaughter maternally of Lt-Col Sir Nigel Mordaunt, 13th Baronet.

Benjamin William Llewellyn Tapps Gervis Meyrick

Alexandra Meyrick (nee Watson) wife since 2000 of Charles Valentine Llewlyn Tapps Gervis Meyrick, [b. 1972], gave birth to a son, Benjamin Willian Llewellyn, 26 July, 2006, a brother for Oliver and Isabella.

Charles is the younger son of Sir George Tapps Gervis Meyrick, 7th Baronet, by his wife the former Jean Louise Montagu Douglas Scott [scion of the Dukes of Buccleuch & Quueensberry], and Alexandra is the daughter of Major and Mrs David Watson.
