Christopher Patrick Cavendish Pelly, who died 23 June, 2026, aged 86, was a scion of the Pelly baronets.
He was born 30 June, 1939, the elder son of Charles Nigel Cavendish Pelly, OBE (1908-1966), and his wife the former Betty Joan Cole (who died 29 Oct, 1995); and married 5 April, 1969, Brenda Amy Grosvenor Herd (1932-2012), daughter of Alfred Mutlow Grosvenor Herd (1901-1970),and his wife the former Heather Sybil Stewart (1900-1975), scion of the Marquesses of Bute, by whom he had issue, a son, Nigel, and a daughter, Amanda.
