Harriett E. Jenkins (nee Baker Baker), wife of Edward J.R. Jenkins, gave birth to a son, Digby Huw Richmond, 15 May, 2025, a brother for Ozzie.
Edward Jenkins is the son of Lt-Col Nicholas Jenkins, of Shrewsbury, and Mrs Beatrice Jenkins, of Nanyuki, Kenya.
Harriett Jenkins, is a scion of that landed family, of Sedbury Hall, North Yorkshire, only daughter of William George Baker Baker (b 5 Jan, 1955), of Richmond, North Yorkshire, and Mrs Sarah Baker Baker, of Ramsbury, Wiltshire.
The infant is descended from Sir George Baker, Recorder of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, one of the loyal defenders of that town for King Charles I in the English Civil War.-=-
