The engagement was announced 12 April, 2025, between Edward William James Cecil (born 29 June, 1996), scion of the Marquesses of Salisbury, younger son of Lord Michael Hugh Cecil (born 23 March, 1960), of Battersea, London, and his wife the former Camilla Julia Scott (born 17 April, 1958), scion of the Scott baronets, and Lucinda Arabella Jerram (born 1996), youngest daughter of the late Mark John Jerram (born circa 1962), by his wife the former Charlotte Emma Rowe (born 1964).
Edward Cecil is a grandson of the late 6th Marquess of Salisbury, DL (1916-2003).
