The engagement was announced 16 January, 2025, between George Frederick de Klee (born 29 April, 1993), son of Hugo Bertram de Klee (born 22 September, 1957), of Ardingly, West Sussex, and his wife the former Caroline Stephenson Clarke (born 19 September, 1956), and Molly Johnson, daughter of Rupert and Simmi Johnson, of Marnhull, Dorset.
The De Klees descend from the Dawson-Damer Earls of Portarlington, the Guthrie landed family and the Stormonth Darling landed gentry family, and the Leslie and Buxton Baronets.
