The marriage took place 26 October, 2024, at St Margaret's Church, Westminster, between the Baron Mott, OBE (born 15 January, 1973), Conservative life peer, son of Mr David Mott, and his wife the former Carol Strawson, and Olivia Leechman, sometime special adviser to the former prime minister Rishi Sunak, daughter of Robert Leechman and his wife the former Moira Lavan.
In the 2023 Special Honours, Darren James Mott was made a life peer and appointed as a lord-in-waiting and whip for the Sunak ministry in the House of Lords. His peerage was gazetted in the name, style and title of Baron Mott, of Chatteris in the County of Cambridgeshire.
