Barbara Carol Somerset, who died 9 December, 2023, aged 90, was a scion of the Dukes of Beaufort.
She was born 21 June, 1933, daughter of Maj Alan FitzRoy Somerset (1902-1940), and his wife the former Ellen Lauder Pyman (who died 15 January, 1951), scion of that landed gentry family; she was unmarried.
