Adrian Alexander Bridgewater, who died 5 December, 2023, was descended from the Barons Vivian.
He was born in 1936, son of Major Philip Alexander Clement Bridgewater (1910-1979), Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards, by his wife the former Hon Ursula Vanda Maud Vivian (1912-1984), daughter of the 4th Baron Vivian (1878-1940); and married 1stly, 1958, Charlotte Pumphrey (born 1937), daughter of the Rev Michael Ernest Christopher Pumphrey (1908-80), and his wife the former Philida Waterfield (1910-2000); married 2ndly, 1969, Lucy Mary le Breton Bartlett (1941-2006), daughter of Lieutenant-Colonel Sir Basil Hardington Bartlett, 2nd Baronet (1905-1985), and his wife the former (Helen) Mary Malcolm (1918-2010), one of the first BBC TV announcers, descended from the House of Battenberg (Marquesses of Milford Haven), and from Lillie Langtry, &c; he married 3rdly, 2014, Annabel Gooch.
From his first marriage he leaves issue, a son, Thomas George Michael (b 1964), and two daughters, Emma Mary (b 1960), and Sophia Charlotte (b 1962); and from his second marriage he leaves a son, Benjamin Hardington (b 1979), and two daughters, Nancy le Breton (b 1971), and Daisy Maud (b 1973).
HSH Prince Louis of Battenberg (later Mountbatten), 1st Marquess of Milford Haven, GCB, GCVO, GCMG, PC (1854-1921), he had issue by Lillie Langtry > Jeanne Marie Langtry (d 1964) > Helen Mary Malcolm (1918-2010) > Lucy Bartlett (1941-2006) = Adrian Bridgewater, &c.
