The engagement was announced 30 July, 2022, between Mr [Frederick John] James Nettlefold [born 1991], son of Mr John Frederick de Villiers [Johnnie] Nettlefold [born 31 October, 1957], of Notting Hill, scion of that landed gentry family,and his late wife the former Juliette Rosalind Bruce-Smythe [1960-2005], and Miss Pippa F. Byrne, daughter of the late Patrick Byrne, and Mrs Fiona Byrne, of Taunton, Somerset.
James Nettlefold is a grandson of Frederick Nettlefold [1927-2003], and his 2nd wife the former Anne Winston Roberts.
