The engagement was announced 26 July, 2022, between the Hon Alexander Broadbent Arbuthnot [born 1986], son of the life peer the Baron Arbuthnot of Edrom, PC [born 4 Aug, 1952], scion of the Arbuthnot baronets, and his wife the former Emma Louise Broadbent [born 1959] [now Baroness Arbuthnot of Edrom, DBE], and Caroline Anne Cranley [born 1989]. daughter of Dr John J Cranley and his wife the former Julie A.T. Whittaker [born 1957].
