The engagement was announced 6 April, 2022, between Dr William Edward Hotham [born 1995], son of Adrian Hotham, of Thorpe Audlin, West Yorkshire, and his wife the former Susan Cheesbrough, & Kate Annabel Pumphrey [born 6 September, 1995], scion of that landed gentry family, daughter of Andrew Charles Pumphrey [born 18 September, 1965], of Hanmer, north Wales, and his wife the former Juliet Evelyn Blackett [born 11 November, 1965], scion of the Blackett baronets.
