Moya Lennox Birtwistle, who died at home in Vancouver, 9 July, 2021, aged 103, was a kinswoman of the Marquess of Sligo.
She was born Moya Lennox Browne, 31 December, 1917, daughter of Percy Frederick Browne [1872-1959], and his wife the former Ruth Reynolds [1881-1957]; married 2 March, 1944, Richard Read Birtwistle [1916-83], son of Henry Haydock Birtwistle [1883-1946], and his wife the former Mary Read [1886-1962], by whom she had a daughter, Susan [born 7 May, 1947].
