The engagement was announced 2 July, 2021, between John Lang, son of the late Mr David Lang and Lady Smith, and stepson of Sir Lockwood Smith, of Matakohe, New Zealand, & Dr Isabella Frances Stopford [born 1992], scion of the Earls of Courtown, daughter of Brigadier James Richard Hugh Stopford [born 1961], of Warminster, Wilts, and his wife the former Michelle Reeves [born 1963].
