He was born 11 March, 1958, son of Capt Hugh Denman Way, MC [died 1971] and his wife the former Carola Mary Bailey [1925-97], scion of the Barons Glanusk. He married 23 Oct, 1999, Emily Jane Ahern [born 1974], daughter of Jeremy Clive Ahern and his wife the former Mavis How, by whom he had issue, a son, Peter, and a daughter Georgina.
