_.Gerald Hugo Cropper [Hady] Wakefield, who died 16 June, 2021, aged 82, was a scion of the Wakefield baronets.
He was born 15 September, 1938, a younger son of Sir Edward Birkbeck Wakefield, 1st Baronet [1903-69], and his wife the former Constance Lalage Perronet Thompson [1906-2001]; married 4 December, 1971, Victoria Louise Feilden [born 6 Aug, 1942], scion of the Feilden baronets, daughter of Major Cecil Henry Feilden [1907-83], and his wife the former Olivia Constance Leonora Baring [1908-75], scion of the Barons Ashburton, by whom he had a son, Edward Cecil [Teddy] [born 7 March, 1973].
