  Sir Sean Connery, the actor, has died aged 90.

He was born 25 Aug, 1930, the son of Joseph and Euphamia Connery; named Thomas. adopted the stage name of Sean in 1953; married 1st 1962, Diane Cilento [marriage dissolved, 1974]; one son; married 2ndly, 1975, Micheline Roquebrune; two step sons, 1 step daughter.

He served in the Royal Navy.
