_. Joanna Beckitt, who died 13 February, 2020, aged 59, was descended from the Camerons of Lochiel and the Dukes of Buccleuch & Queensberry, & Dukes of Montrose.
She was born Joanna Hermione Burnett-Stuart, 25 Oct, 1960, scion of a landed gentry family, daughter of Joseph Burnett-Stuart [1930-2010], by his wife Mary Hermione Stewart [born 1931].
She was a great-granddaughter of Sir Donald Cameron of Lochie, 25th Chief of the Clan [1876-1951], who married Lady Hermione Graham [1882-1978], daughter of the 5th Duke of Montrose, and a great-great-granddaughter of Lady Margaret Montagu-Douglas-Scott [1846-1918], daughter of the 5th Duke of Buccleuch & Queensberry [1806-84], &c.
Married Jonathan Burkitt, by whom she had issues, two daughters, Hermione and Sophie.
The funeral takes place at St James's Church, Piccadilly, 5 March, 2020.
