_. George Henry Fitzroy Somerset, who died 20 July, 2019, aged 20, was a scion of the Barons Raglan [a cadet of the Dukes of Beaufort].
He was born 21 January, 1999, son of Henry Robert Fitzroy Somerset [born 13 February, 1961], by his wife the former Jane Laird Gordon. He is survived by his parents and siblings, Alice [born 1993], and Claire [born 1995].
George was a grandson of David Somerset [1930-2014], who, as chief cashier of the Bank of England, had his signature on all the bank notes in the 1980s.
A Service of Thanksgiving takes place at St Mary's Church, Leigh, Kent, 19 August, 2019.
