Hessler, son of Dr Rolf Hessler and Mrs Cornelia Hessler, of Bockholt, Germany, & Emily Caroline Stenning (born 1981), daughter of Nicholas Julian Seymour Stenning (born 1952), of Medstead, Hampshire, by his wife the former Caroline Livingstone-Learmonth (born 1952), scion of that landed family.
The bride-to-be is a granddaughter of Michael Livingstone-Learmonth, MC (1916-83) by his wife Gillian (1925-92), dau of Sir Robert Parr, KBE, CMG (1894-1979).
