_. (Thomas) Michael Beswick Sissons, who died 24 August, 2018, aged 83, was a leading literary agent and a founder of the Groucho Club. A son of Capt T.E.B. Sissons (who was killed in action in 1940), and of the former Marjorie Shepherd; married 1stly 1960 (div 1974), Nicola Ann Fowler, by whom he had 2 children; married 2ndly 1974 (div 1992) Ilze Kadegis, by whom he had a further two children; married thirdly, 1992 (as her second husband) Serena Barbara Palmer (born 1950), scion of the Barons Palmer, daughter of William Alexander Palmer, CBE, DL (b 1925), by his wife the former Cherry Anne Gibbs (born 1928).
