Piers Edgar, only son of Mr Campbell Edgar, of Salisbury, Wiltshire, and the late Mrs Edgar, & the Hon Charlotte Alexandra Hamilton Wills (born 1981), scion of the Barons Dulverton, only daughter of the 3rd Baron Dulverton (b 2 May 1944), of Batsford, Gloucestershire, by his first wife the former Rosalind van der Velde (now Rosalind, Baroness Dulverton, of Marbella, Spain).
