Gold/Pemberton engagement

_.The engagement was announced 17 January, 2014, between (John) Angus Harcourt Gold (born 1958), son of the late Maj Harcourt Michael Scudamore Gold, MC ( d 1992), of Wheathill, Sparsholt, near Winchester, by his wife the former Hon Jocelyne Mary Boot (b 1917), scion of the Barons Trent (Ext 1956), of Sutton Scotney, Hampshire, & Georgina F.S. Pemberton, yst daughter of Mr & Mrs Christopher Pemberton, of Clandulla, New South Wales. Mr Angus Gold is a grandson maternally of the 2nd Baron Trent. -=-
