son of Colonel and Mrs Hugh Diamond, of Bodenham, Herefordshire, &
the Hon Mrs Camilla Mary Lara Soames (born 1967) second daughter of the
late Savile William Francis Crossley, 3rd Baron Somerleyton, KCVO
(Peerage of the UK, cr 1916), of Somerleyton Hall, Lowestoft, Suffolk,
by his wife the former Belinda Maris Loyd, scion of that landed family.
