The engagement was announced 14 March, 2026, between Robin Peter Garrard Spicer (born 22 October, 1991), youngest son of Mark Holgate Spicer, of West Haddon, Northamptonshire, by his wife the former Ann Marguerite Aitchison (born 17 August, 1955), scion of the Aitchison baronets, and Elizabeth Evelyn H. (Lilly) Hanbury (born 1991), scion of that landed gentry family of that name of Drumstinchall, Kirkcudbrightshire formerly of Poles, the eldest daughter of Nigel John Hanbury (born 4 March, 1957), of West Harting, Sussex, and his wife the former Daphne E. Boyle.
