The engagement was announced 27 December, 2025, between (William) Henry C. Rutland (born 14 February, 1996), descended from the extinct Barons Ashfield and the Earls of Lauderdale, younger son of the late Mr Hugo James Stanley Rutland (1961- ), and his wife the former Serena Claire Summers (born Oct, 1961, now Lady Andrew Hay, of Traitor's Ford, Oxfordshire), and Vasiliki (Kiki) Grammatopoulos, only daughter of Prof Dimitris Grammatopoulos and Mrs Dimitra Troumbata-Grammatopoulos, of Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
Henry Rutland's mother married 2ndly, 8 Dec, 2009, Lord Andrew George Hay (born 1959), younger son of the 12th Marquess of Tweeddale (1921-1979).
