The Hon Charles Willoughby is the second son of 13th Baron Middleton (born 1948), of North Yorkshire, by his wife the former Hon Lucy Sidney (born 1953), scion of the Viscounts De L'Isle.

Isobel is a daughter of the late Richard Summers and of Mrs Summers (nee Bedborough), of Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.

__. Diana Mary Leslie-Melville, who died 25 November, 2017, was the widow of the Hon George David Leslie-Melville (1924-97), scion of the Earls of Leven & Melville, and was descended from the Earls of Morton.

She was a daughter of Brigadier Sir Henry Houldsworth (1896-1963), scion of that landed family, by his wife Katharine Douglas, scion of the Earls of Morton, and married the Hon George Leslie-Melville in 1955, and had issue.

Maddison is the daughter of Jeremy Alexander Rothwell Brudenell and his wife the former Edwina Victoria Louise Hicks (b 1961), elder daughter of the late David Nightingale Hicks by his wife the former Lady Pamela Carmen Louise Mountbatten (b 1929), younger daughter of the late 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma.

 

Maddison's husband is a musician under the name "Jazz Purple".

Baron Hutchinson of Lullington, QC 1915-2017

__. The Lord Hutchinson of Lullington, QC, who has died aged 102, was a life peer, leading criminal barrister, whose extraordinary career included the defence of Christine Keeler and the spy George Blake.

Jeremy Nicolas Hutchinson was born 28 March, 1915, the son of St John Hutchinson, QC, by his wife the former Mary Barnes.

Called to the Bar in 1939, at the Middle Temple; Bencher 1963; Recorder of Bath 1962-72, and a Recorder of the Crown Court 1972-76; late Chairman of the Trustees of the Tate Gallery; created Baron Hutchinson of Lullington (1978).

Married firstly, 1940 (div 1966) Dame Peggy Ashcroft, the actress, who died in 1991; married secondly, 1966, Mrs June Osborn, daughter of Capt Arthur Capel, scion of the extinct Barons Ribblesdale. He leaves issue from his first marriage.
