Meriel Lavinia Margaret Scrope [nee Buxton, born 26 July, 1980], wife of Richard W. McC Scrope, scion of that ancient landed family & descended from the Earls of Mexborough, gave birth to a daughter, Emily Flavia Lucy, 16 November, 2017.
Richard Scrope is a son of Mr & Mrs Philip Scrope.
Meriel Scrope, a scion of the Buxton Baronets (Bt, cr 1840), is a daughter of James Anthony Fowell Buxton (b 14 Mar, 1948), by his wife the former Margaret Elizabeth Russell (b 11 Oct, 1945), scion of the Barons Ampthill (B, UK, cr 1881), &c.
