Sebastian Yorke, who died 17 June, 2022, aged 88, was a scion of the Earls of Hardwicke [descended from the 1st Earl].
He was born 24 January, 1934, son of Henry Vincent Yorke [1905-1973], [the novelist Henry Green] and his wife the former Hon Adelaide Mary Biddulph [1901-1985], daughter of the 2nd Baron Biddulph [1869-1949]; and married firstly, 18 November, 1957] [div 1962], the Hon Emma Christina Tennant [1937-2017], daughter of the 2nd Baron Glenconner [1899-1983], and his second wife, the former Elizabeth Powell [died 2014]; married 2ndly, 1969 [div], Evelyn Barrau, daughter of Lewis Barrau; married 3rdly, 1993, Margaret A. Hick, who survivies him.
He leaves a son from his first marriage, Matthew Henry Yorke [born 24 November, 1958].
