_. Miranda, Countess of Stockton, who has died aged 72, was the former fashion model wife of the 2nd Earl of Stockton, and was previously the third wife of the actor Peter Sellers.
Miranda Elizabeth Louise Quarry was born in 1947, a daughter of Richard Bridges St John Quarry [1912-2002], of Padworth House, co Buckingham, by his wife the former Diana Elizabeth Lloyd [died 1999]. Her parents divorced and her mother married 2ndly, 8 May, 1951, the 2nd Baron Mancroft [1914-1987].
Miranda's half brother is the 3rd Baron Mancroft [born 16 May, 1957], and half sisters are  the Hon Victoria [born 1952], wife of Prince Frederick von Preussen [born 1946], descended from the last German Emperor, and  the Hon Jessica Mancroft [born 1954].
She married firstly, 24 Aug, 1970 [div 1974] as his third wife the actor Peter Richard Henry Sellers, CBE [1925-1980]; married secondly, in 1975 [div 1983] as his second wife, Sir Nicholas Keith Lillington Nuttall, 3rd Baronet [1933-2007]; married thirdly, 23 December, 1995 [divorced 2010], as his second wife, the 2nd Earl of Stockton [born 10 Oct, 1943], grandson of Prime Minister Harold Macmillan [1894-1986], ennobled as Earl of Stockton, and Viscount Macmillan of Ovenden, in 1984.
The Countess leaves three daughters, Gytha Miranda [born 1975], Amber Louise [born 1976] and Olympia Jubilee [born 1977] from her married to Sir Nicholas Nuttall, Bt.
