_. Dr Anthony Peter Coats Bacon, who died 17 February, 2020, aged 95, was a scion of the Bacon baronets, England's premier baronetcy. He was born 23 August, 1924, son of Francis Rimington Bacon [1891-1947], by his wife the former Winifred Marie Coats [1892-1973]; married 6 Dec, 1947, Helen Annette Jaques [died 2016], daughter of Harold Jaques [1888-1966], by his wife the former Gladys Emsley [1892-1978], and by her had 2 sons and 2 daughters.
