The engagement was announced 2 August, 2019, between Yvo Benedict Macfarlane [born 1988], son of Thomas P Macfarlane, of Combe, Somerset, by his wife the former Cathryn Harriet Windsor-Clive [born 1958], scion of the Earls of Plymouth, & Sophie Katharine Rose Clifford [born 1991], scion of the Barons Clifford of Chudleigh, daughter of the Hon Rollo Hugh Clifford [born 1954], of Porlock, Somerset, by his wife the former Caroline Peta Roberts.
Sophie is a granddaughter of the 13th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh.
