Lady Davina Barnard 1931-2018

_. The Lady Davina Barnard, who died 6 September, 2018, aged 87, was a scion of the Marquesses of Exeter, and former wife of the 11th Baron Barnard.

She chose to style herself Lady Davina Barnard following her divorce.

She was born 29 June, 1931, as Lady Davina Mary Cecil, daughter of the 6th Marquess of Exeter (1905-81), by his wife the former Lady Mary Theresa Montagu Douglas Scott (1904-84), scion of the Dukes of Buccleuch and Queensberry.

Lady Davina was a niece of Lady Alice Montagu Douglas Scott (1901-2004), who married Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester, third son of HM King George V.

She married in 1952 (divorced in 1992), the 11th Baron Barnard (1923-2016), by whom she had issue, including the 12th Baron Barnard.
