She was the former Gillian Claire Moubray, born in 1933, the youngest daughter of the late Maj Robert Moubray, 16th Lancers (who d 1961), by his wife the former Claire Wilhelmina Maud Morrison-Bell, scion of the Morrison-Bell baronets (Bt UK, cr 1905), & married Sir Richard Boughey in 1976. He died in 1978.
Lady Boughey's elder sister, Evelyn Mary, married in 1979, as his 2nd wife, the 6th Duke of Sutherland, and a first cousin, Susan Monica Grenville-Grey is the wife of the 10th Duke of Richmond & Gordon, &c.
